/ just a random thought ;

Is it possible to rekindle old relationships? Can everything be like it once was?

/ends random thought.

Tadaima! ^o^

Hello Audrey and welcome back to Singapore! :3 Actually came back on Saturday but, YKNOW, caught the lazy bug and decided to lay off blogging for awhile.

..Until I remembered that I still owe Rachel her post! Lol.

Rachel, rachel. My first impression of her was this SUPAH guai and INCREDIBLY holy girl. Like, those that, no matter what, won't go against what is morally correct? (i.e, the type who didn't know how to have fun XD;;) But HEY! THAT WAS TOTALLY NOT HER PLEASE. Taunting Audrey is morally incorrect, yet she still does that all the time! T___T Anyways I'm glad to have gotten to know her better during this trip. Like, she was always in the class next to mine but I never knew her! Lol. I'm also glad to have been able to introduce SANCTUARY to her since it's such a beautiful song. (btw, have you heard 'offering'? It's an awesome song too) AND! I would like to thank her for bringing her guitar on the trip! Or the whole experience in Thailand would have been very very different. So, thank you! :D

Oh. She seems to find it very amusing that I speak in 3rd person. -___- Why ah. It just comes naturally, okay??! DON'T JUDGE ME! >D

Audrey-vic <3s Rachel!

Bye bye, Singapore!

Ahh~ Flying off to Vietnam in 2 hours (SQ, lol! Not airasia.com. XD;;) and I haven't packed my hand-carry bag yet! (Why am I still blogging? -___-ll )

Anyway see y'all in a week's time! I seem to have so many things to pack, though I'm going for only 5 days.. which is 1/3 of the time I spent in Thailand? Oh the irony! Charger. Must remember charger! For DS, Ipod, Handphone, Camera, Laptop!

Will blog more about the trip when I get back!
Sorry to Rachel; I still haven't written your post! I promise to do it when I get back yeah..

Bye Singapore, and let's continue to pray for Reh!
Love, Audrey-vic! :D

D:

ZHOMGGG.
Heard that Reh hasn't been to school since we left! And I was all worried for him last night too..
I'm just feeling really crappy now. Like, conflicted.
There are so many things I wanna tell him now, but HOW?? Even if I do see him, there is still the language barrier.
Audrey misses her one-baht boy. ):
Please keep him in your prayers, everyone.
Thanks so much.

Today has been an awesome daaaay :3

Ahh, really wanna thank God for today. U___U Here's what happened today (fine, yesterday) that got me really happy and thankful:

# o1. I woke up at 12pm! Not really anything big, since I wake up late everyday, but recently I have been having sleepless nights that make me feel so lethargic the next day. Today I woke up feeling so refreshed and energized! So, it's a point worth noting down. :D

# o2. Went for lunch with Irvin and Aunty at Sun with Moon (jap cuisine). They both did really embarrassing things there, but their silly antics really made my day. Irvin drank iced coffee from a stirrer (LOL??!), for starters, and Aunty bickered with the waitress about them having beef in potato croquette. Urghhh, it was so embarrassing but certainly amusing! So, awesome lunch, awesome entertainment.

# o3. Went to Sun Moulin and bought heaps of bread after lunch! (yesss, and finished them all XD;;) Finally ate my chocolate chip melon bread after SOOOOOO long! And they have new-flavoured bread too! There was this sponge cake thingum with chocolate filling. Mhmmmm it was so delicious!!! >w<

# o4. Celebrated Paul and Mark's birthday with cousins over dinner. Theme was ah-neh (indian) at Angela's house! Ahh food was great!! And we had, like, 5 different desserts to choose from, including apple pie, black forest and tiger beer ice cream from Island creamery. Okay, enough said. >D

# o5. Dear Thias is back safely and happy! Got his message over dinner that he was home, tanner and fatter (nope, not believing this last part U__U ll) and was really pleasantly surprised when he said he had (a little too much) fun. Since he kept complaining that he was very sian about OCIP and wanted to get it over and done with.. so I'm really glad he enjoyed himself! But since I'm going to Vietnam this Tuesdayyy.. our apple-pear crumble baking day has to be pushed back. D: No worries, though! I'm sure we'll do it someday. And I totally agree.. we need to meet up soon to share our OCIP stories! Over starbucks, right? Yes yes, you and your love for coffee. :D Welcome home, Matthias! ^o^

# o6. THE CHILDREN IN BAN PHA TAEK ARE MAKING USE OF OUR LIBRARY! Really, I was so, so happy and touched to see these few pictures on the website! I'm also glad they have floor-paper for the library! TT___TT I am so ~!@#$%^&*() DELIGHTED!- now I can cry. Look at the kids! Yutenahh at the computer! But then ah. WHY GOT NO PICTURES OF MY REH? D: Would really love to know how he's getting along because I miss him tonnes here. ): Oh and how can not have pictures of Lao Da huh??! XD;; Joking, joking.

But I really wanna see Reh so I know he's getting along fine there. But hey, he's a tough boy so AUDREY, DON'T WORRY TOO MUCH LA! <3

Btw, sorry Rachel, I'll blog about you tomorrow okay? Don't be disappointed! 8D

& while I'm at it, I shall note down certain amusing and fond events that happened in Thailand! Ahh I really miss the place. U__U

1. The fresh, cold air in the morning! Somehow it's different waking up in an aircon room in Singapore. :D And the kuais that go down the hill every morning with their cow bells ringing.

2. Morning worship, yo! It's always nice to wake up to guitar-playing and people singing. Really, it's very soothing. And really wanna thank Brens for always waking me up for morning worship after she brushes her teeth. You're really like my Mother leh! ^o^ Maybe next year you call me to wake up also la, then can go for worship in school. HAHA.

3. Tricia! I miss talking to her about Christian/Catholic stuff. Recently a question has been bothering me, OKAY NOT BOTHERING, but I've been pondering about it for quite awhile, since I came back. It's something we've spoken about before, but I just really wanna ask her opinions regarding it again. I love how she tells me about her Christian practices, and accepts my Catholic practices with that understanding look on her face. Maybe that's why I can open up to her about stuff like these. :D

4. UHMMM, I'm really full now but I miss Miss A's cooking! Damn the spice in her food was always just right, although it got all wrong and non-spicy towards the last few days in the village thanks to SUNAK GERARD NICHOLAS EMMANUEL complaining it was too hot. XD;;

5. KC'S Momma-calls! It was, like, a practice to sit at the steps after debriefs to listen to Cherub Chesed strumming lovely, melodic tunes on the guitar and singing, and then when KC comes out with his phone, everyone shuts up and just listens to him narrate the day's happenings to his mother. (: It was always so comical! I wonder if he's doing that in Vietnam now, too. Haha!

6. THE STARS ARE SO BRIGHT AT NIGHT.

7. Our morning conversations! Every morning we would definitely talk about these 3 topics: I) Why Charmaine hasn't shat yet. XD;; II) Gerard complaining about KC's phone alarm being so damn loud! & III) Which part of Tricia I slept on the night before. HAHAHA. Breakfast! Oh then Amirah and Charmaine would always go back to second helpings of the Aro biscuits.

8. What else was eventful? Oh! PLAYING HARDCORE TIC-TAC-TOE WITH REH! Like, instead of 3 x 3 it was 5 x 5 leh! Hardcore right? Haha! He draws so damn well too.. Maybe tomorrow I will take a picture of a dragon he drew and put it up here. (:

9. On the last day when we had to chiong the painting for the wall at the library, Tricia and I got up waaay too early and decided to go to the library to start painting first! So we were outlining in the dark using our torches. Then since the translators, Toon and Tow to be exact, were awake too, they decided to hold the torches for us! Yay, then we went for morning worship which Brens led! I remember everyone eyed me suspiciously when we sang Sanctuary. HAHAHA.

10. Hmm on the day we were under hotel quarantine, I was going down to com to use internet when I bumped into Cherub in the lift and we decided to go explore the hotel. HAHA. We went to fire exits and stuff, then got so excited because from 10 floors up we saw this GIANT rat (or so he claims, I still think it was an otter!) swimming across the lonkang below. Then we took pictures blah blah blah.. then about 15 minutes we realized ZOMG! We can't open the fire exit door from the inside!! At that point I was EFFING WORRIED LA! Like, I didn't bring my phone and Chesed's phone doesn't have reception! We'll be stuck in a fire exit our whole lives!~ So I was panicking like an idiot and Cherub just kept laughing and laughing, LIKE AN IDIOT! So anyway, we hurried down a couple of floors, and managed to find an unlocked fire exit door. Heng sia. Lol. I remember Cherub saying, " Oh no, if we're stuck here I will have to eat you, Audrey!" o______________o II Scary sia. But thrilling! (now that I think about it) XD;;

^ Fire exit on second floor! A few seconds later someone looked up and saw Cherub's legs dangling off as he scurried off the steps. Haha.

^ Fire exits are really really dirty. It's like, a dumping ground!

Yup, just the top 10 on my list. Many, many more, ESPECIALLY THE SCENE WHEN WE LEFT THE VILLAGE, but I don't think I need to write that down; I'll never forget that. Ahh. I just got a tagboard on ma blog! *is uber happy* THANKS, AMIRAH! <3>

Okay, Ciao.

Rachel, oh rachel..

With reference to this post,

I have blogged about Rachel. >D

I need to start my swim regime baaaadly.

こんばんは!

Sent KC off at the airport today! He's going to Vietnam for his ODAC trip. And it was quite weird because there were a lot of SA people at the airport.. Like, people from my class too. And I haven't really spoken to them in awhile. D': So it was, yeah, quite weird.
Went with Brens earlier to snap a few photos of the airport! I love the place! The architecture and the bustle (busy, yet still tranquil!) and simply put, the whole atmosphere. And GYARGHH. I drank my 5th cup of Mocha Venti since coming back from Thailand. WTS, I swear. I'm such a starbucks junkie it's not funny anymoreee! D<

^ I realized: Bangkok, Singapore and Malaysia are all adapting the same-styled lifts. Good grief!

^ KC is mighty happy he's so darn rich. HAHA. Cheap thrill leh, you!

^ Oh my dearrr Amirahhh!~

^ These 2 ah.. Really same-same-but-different! :DDD

OHHH, today I got an email from Silvia! Boy was I surprised. Said she's been looking through my flickr, saw George's hospital photo and was wondering how he was doing. Also said she has been researching on dolls. She said I had lovely dolls! Waaah I'm so happy. Unlike MAURICE, who can't seem to stop criticizing me for it. D: I really hate it when people do that. Like, can you just lemme DO WHAT I WANNA DO??! Sheesh; can't you let me enjoy my hobby?
And then I went home to swim my mandatory 30 laps. And OH MY BUDDHA (what petch would say)! I need to start my daily swim regime again. 30 laps was okaay, not tiring or anything. But I shouldn't have ended it with my worse stroke ever: Freestyle. Came out the pool panting like a dog when all I swam was 4 laps of freestyle. Gah I really suck at that. D: Hmm who should I talk about today? Oh I should mention: the people I talk about are in NO PARTICULAR ORDER! Although the ones I've already talked about probably impacted me a little more than the others. (: Sooo today I shall talk about THE Weiwen! Haha.

She ahhh.. Truth to be told I'm quite scared of her sometimes! You know how I am; I'm super-sensitive to people's behaviors. And she exudes VIBES! It's not baaad, or anything. But it always makes me feel like I've done something wrong. D: Oh wells. I'm sure she doesn't mean anything.. I just get jittery every time I feel the weiwen-vibes. Haha. And little miss treasurer came up with this damn weird theory which I will never forget, lol. It's quite funny, actually. I really wanna know how she arrived at that conclusion, but WEIWEN IF YOU ARE READING THIS. Holy crap, it's totally not true. You and your weird deductions. (Like you think I don't like you.. -____-II )

Oh today I've been listening to lots of awesome Christian songs. Like, playing in the background as I blog this. Ahhh I may end up going for morning worship afterall! But it's so early leh! You know Vietnam trip don't have morning worship? Apparently Derrick Ong doesn't allow.. Wow after hearing that I'm really thankful to God for placing me in this trip with such great (and holy) fellow Christian teammates. Like Sunak Gerard Nicholas Emmanuel says, I felt so holy throughout the trip! The 3 of us (G.N.E, Zorrgeenaa and I) really felt that way.

Hey, you 3 SFC people! Must sing Sanctuary if we go for morning worship okay. (:
(Today's post so long sia. LOLLER! )

Audrey loves TRICIA to infinity and beyond!

Person of honorary mention today is TRICIA! My lovely and cute sleeping buddy. :3 Ahh she really inspired me (in more ways than one) on this trip, and I'm really glad I got to know her so much better in Thailand! I would also like to congratulate her for surviving my terribly-weird and hazardous sleeping habits (I slept on her head) every night! She really changed the perception I had towards many things, especially towards Christianity. You are awesome Tricia! Audrey-Victoria loves you many many many times over. :D

^ Picture was taken at the most awesome dinner ever. Most memorable part of the night was Petch saying " Why is the piece of chicken I'm eating getting bigger and bigger? Next they are going to serve me a whole chicken!" YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I LAUGHED AFTER THAT. And here's another picture I really like of the boys camwhoring! They look like little kids. >D

& KC is going to Vietnam tomorrow for his ODAC trip! Wah power sia, he. Haha. We're sending him off at the airport tomorrow. I hope he enjoys his time there! Have tonnes of fun, yo. :3

YOUR FEET ARE LIKE PIG TROTTERS.

But please get well soon, George! :3
We'll all be praying for you.

PETCH LOVES CAM-WHORING.

Today Audrey shall talk about Petch because
1. I'm talking to him online now &
2. He's the last member of the Hein-starbuck gang &
3. HE IS SUCH A CAMWHORE THOUGH HE SUCKS AT IT.

8D

Petch oh petch, he should just stop being so mean and ebil to Brens! But apart from that, he was a really vital member of our team. Like, hello? He was the only one who could speak Thai fluently?? HAHA. So the whole team's really grateful to him for always helping translate, and I think that has gotten to his head because he JUST WON'T STOP FLATTERING HIMSELF NOW.

We're visiting George later! Supposed to meet Brens and Cherub (I'm so used to calling him that! OMG.) at 1015 at YCK mrt. HAHA HOPE I CAN WAKE UP ON TIME~~

Just did the reflections for the post-expedition thing and DAMN, I miss Reh damn badly can. And all the children in the village. I wonder if they miss us too, since every day is a new day for them. But I really hope we stay in their hearts, because the whole of team 2 here has them in ours. U___U

1. Lastly, Which parts of the trip/experience from the OCIP program was most meaningful to you and tells us the important lessons you learnt from it? (You can give more than one.)

The debrief sessions every night were certainly meaningful. I’ve learnt a lot from my team mates through their sharing. It was also interesting to see that even though 2 people were referring to the same incident, they had varying, and possibly contrasting opinions regarding it. I’ve also jotted down points which my team mates have shared which I feel can be applied to my personal life so I can look back on it anytime I want and remember, and apply it to whatever circumstance.

The scene when we left the village was also very touching and emotional. Everyone cried (even Mr Liang!), and I think seeing this, it was obvious how much we loved the place, and how much we were going to miss the villagers and each other. We have given so much of ourselves to the villagers there, and it was sad knowing that could possibly be our last time there. Also some villagers cried, and through this, I could tell that they appreciated what we’ve done for them, and that the feelings that we were going to miss each other were mutual. This really touched me because I felt that everything we’ve gone through, the challenges, they were all worthwhile.

Truly, that's how I feel. The scene when we were all leaving.. We were all crying like idiots please. And I could see the tears in Reh's eyes but he was just SO STRONG and he kept it all in. It was only when we were on the truck that Tricia saw his tears finally falling. D:

Okay, I'm getting all emo and reflective now. I just really miss everything, you know? And it hasn't even been a week! Like, I miss the team, but I can see them anytime. But the villagers, Reh.. I may never see them all ever again, although they've impacted me in such a great and deep way.

It's such a pity, yeah?

Okay, Petch. Now you have to make Audrey bread.
D:

GET WELL SOON, GEORGE!

Person of today shall be Cherub Chesed! I think I've said this so many times already but I think I've talked to him more in the 2 weeks than in the whole year! 8D Anyhow, it was nice bickering with him about the stupidest stuff. But Cherub, CAN YOU STOP FLATTERING YOURSELF PLEASE? And expand your vocab so you don't have to keep using my lines to get back at me. XD;;

Team 2's gonna visit George tomorrow! Zomg, I really hope he's feeling better. D: And that his leg will hurry and deflate so the whole team can have our Sentosa date. HAHA. Went to taka today and got him some purple elephant hand puppet. So cute I swear. Better than normal flowers and fruits. :DD Sharing with Brens!

There is a total of 3 people who have told me that Sanctuary is stuck in their head. >D I've got Make me a Servant stuck in mine! Loller.

AND. Audrey is uber proud of herself today! Resisted the urge to buy a SDF! Wtf, it's only USD390 now can. I should hurry and buy it now right? NOOOOOO~ I will stick to my plans and buy it after A levels, even if it means the price shoots up to USD600. God will reward me later for resisting now. (:

I MISS BAN PHA TEK BADLY. D:

This blog was created so I could post on the Thailand blog but guess what? I STILL DON'T KNOW HOW TO CONTRIBUTE TO THAT BLOG OR BECOME AN AUTHOR. God, Imma useless ass. I'm gonna try and put pictures with my team mates here! One at a time. Today I shall start with Brenda, Plamuk; if not for her I wouldn't have survived the 16 days away from home! (And there's Petch in BOTH SHOTS, who's always trying to wedge his way into our photos. I've successfully mastered the ability to angle my shots in such a way his face isn't captured. HEH. )

Anyway how many days have I been back in singapore? 3rd day already.. Man I miss the children in the village really badly. And the team too. I miss Reh, ma one-baht boy. And Lao Da (nut) too.. The thai pledge is still in my head. I'm so bored maybe I'll go youtube it later. :D

I miss the translators!
Miss A and her cooking, Jack, Nuni, Toon and Tow with their rubbish and BANK AND HIS CRAPTASTIC JOKES THAT AREN'T FUNNY. :3

Ahhh it has been awhile since we last dug up 18 buckets of sand, 15 buckets of stone, 5 buckets of water and 50kg worth of cement. And mixing them all together. That was terrible and tiring but it was so fun, doing it with the team. Audrey is a hazard, I knowww. I almost chopped off the fingers of countless people when I was wielding the chanko. HEH. >D

MOST OF ALL, I MISS THE WEATHER IN THAILAND!
Zomg it's so blarrrdy humid in Singapore and I hate sweating. D:
We may be visiting George this wendesday; I hope he takes good care of himself til then??

Oh, Thias rowed (since he went in a boat instead of a plane) off this morning to K islands! Hope he has a great one week there and comes back feeling as fulfilled and satisfied as I did.

:D

BLOGGER SUCKS!

And I thought LJ sucked,
but blogger is worse!

ZOMG.

Sian TTM please.
D:
